i am amazed at how Annette, the author of this book, told her side of the stories in "fighting" leukemia, not as the patient herself, but as the caregiver. she was being very honest to herself, about being strong, being positive, being the no 1 supporter for her dying husband and at the same time being devastated, disappointed, frustrated, dissatisfied...etc..etc.. she then continued on how she chose to move on after her husband's death, and how she's actually making her steps. i can feel that she's being herself, telling the world what she felt to go through such pain. the pain may have nothing similar to the effect from the chemotheraphy, yet hurts so bad though may not as much!
